Decor is lacking, but the food makes up for it. Don't sleep on the clay pot aubergine.. easily the best thing we got! The cauliflower appetizer is a good starter - big enough to share.

We had a lovely dining experience at Tamashii. Service with a smile doesn't even begin to cover it. From the moment we walked in, I felt exceptionally welcome. We were not rushed in any way and were given advise as to top food choices. We had the Gyoza (delicious) and Fried Squid (uniquely served, tasty with a touch of spice) to start. For our mains, I enjoyed the Duck Ramen, the soup was just what I needed, while the duck was cooked perfectly. My friend had the Sweet and Sour Chicken, which she raved about. Out of the cocktails, I would highly recommend the Geisha Girl - one of the best gin cocktails I have ever had.

Overall a very good experience. The food was fantastic, I was expecting it to be a tiny bit spicier but the flavour was full anyway so I wasn't too disappointed. The value was good.
Our waitress was super nice but in a "I'm not 100% sure what I'm doing" sort of way. It was still a really good experience nonetheless. We didn't get offered water (although we also didn't ask so i can't shift all the blame).
Nothing to complain about but certainly nothing to go shouting about to the rest of the world about.

It was ok. Some dished were better than others; my udon noodles was nicer than the green curry. I think most of the food isn’t made fresh, nothing was served piping-burn-your-mouth-hot suggesting it had been reheated.

The decour and ambience where on point, very instagram worthy. The staff where lovely. My only negative is the chinese sweet and sour prawns and spring rolls where flavourless, however the ebi katsu and lobster noodles where insanely good, the ebi katsu we had to order two lots as they where that delicious!

Manager was really nice although quite busy working the floor on his own. The food is good value although the flavours are only ok. The shredded whole duck was actually pretty good but the pancakes were not great. But it was the best of the dishes I tried.

The first thing i'll say is that the service was excellent, I didn't get my waitresses name, but she was attnetive and friendly. Cocktails were delicious and strong. Now when it came to the food, my companions and I were not as impressed flavour wise. The calamari was very bland and batter too thick. Most of the food reminded us of a typical Asian takeaway just served on a plate. I'd come back her for starters and cocktails. The food is decent nothing to write home about. Staff were warm, so I can't fault them.

The staff were really lovely. They made our time there enjoyable. The food was fine. This restaurant is in a good central location. It has nice decor and had a good atmosphere.

I enjoyed the food here! The spring rolls were delicious. I had the vegetarian Katsu curry, it was nice but I’d probably try something else next time as I didn’t love the fried patties. As a whole, it was a pleasant experience and I’d definitely go back!

Awful! Service was terrible! Looked nothing like the photos online! The manger had a piece of scrappy paper with reservations on amd couldn't find ours! The worst restaurant I have been to in a while... We left without eating after seeing other people's food!

We had a great meal last night at Tamashii. The food was delicious, and in particular we loved the firecracker cauliflower and prawn stuffed aubergines in black bean sauce. The service was fantastic and sadly the restaurant cannot take a tip by card, so we were unable to leave a tip as we didn't have cash. We will be returning soon!
