In the heart of Shoreditch, Passione Vino brings Italy’s warm-blooded hospitality to East London. Founded by Italian wine expert Luca Dusi, this lively wine bar and restaurant champions artisan bottles from small Italian producers.

Colourful wallpaper and shelves stacked with bottles create a cosy, characterful backdrop that hums with conviviality. The team’s enthusiasm is contagious. They steer you through styles and regions with ease, so the wine feels as alive as the room itself.

The kitchen mirrors that spirit with a daily-changing menu of comforting, home-style dishes. You can expect fresh pasta, lasagne and generous sharing plates.

Sides such as Cantabrian anchovies with buffalo milk stracciatella and winter radicchio add saline snap and gentle bitterness. A petite board of charcuterie and cheese, or rilette di anatra all’arancia, rounds things off.

This is a slice of Italy poured with heart, whether you are here to discover a new favourite bottle or linger over soulful Italian cooking.
