Ayva Bistro brings the comfort of a classic breakfast table to East London, with a gentle nod to Turkish traditions and a playful streak of all-American indulgence. It is the sort of place where the day begins with familiar favourites and a few well-placed surprises, served with the kind of generosity that feels like a weekend treat, any day of the week.

From the Ayva Special to the Halal Brekkie, plates arrive hearty and reassuring. The American Stack channels diner nostalgia, while Pistachio Lovers layers homemade pistachio and chocolate sauce with clotted cream and seasonal fruits for a sweet crescendo. Omelettes range from a Cheddar Omelette to a Turkish Omelette, and jacket potatoes keep things classically British with cheese and beans or tuna, mayo and sweetcorn. Brunch leans elegant with Egg Benedict and Egg Royale on toasted sourdough, while hand-rolled Gozleme offers feta and spinach or Cheddar in a golden fold. For those who like to steer their own course, create-your-own options let eggs or meats mingle with avocado, spinach, cheese, falafel and seasonal fruits.

This is a menu that suits early starts, leisurely catch-ups and late-morning pick-me-ups alike, with savoury comforts balanced by syrupy stacks and bright, nutty notes. Swing by for a stack, a sizzle or a fold, and let brunch do the talking.
