What started as a thriving restaurant in the northern Indian city of Gurgaon is now this swish, stylish eatery in Haymarket. This is where sprawling Indian metropolises meet modern glamour for a dining experience you're unlikely to forget.

A gilded dining hall serves as the location for some of the best Indian street food in the whole of London. A shimmering bar acts as the centrepiece with plush bar stools along its glittering circumference. The rest of the dining hall is fitted with glossy leather furnishings that include swanky booths and comfy armchairs, gently coaxing you into a state of relaxation under the halo of dozens of contemporary lanterns.

Not only is it a stunning hideout for nibbles and spellbinding cocktails, Farzi has fast become a culinary hotspot for foodies all around London. The menu is compact and considered, showcasing the finest selections of Indian street food, from the classic chicken tikka masala to a tandoori paneer and mushroom masala, lamb shank vindaloo and seared venison pepper fry. Not content with serving you flavours you already know, Farzi is always pushing culinary boundaries.

They're also fusing some of the most delectable Asian flavours with their baos and sliders that are filled with tempered potatoes and butter chicken. Don't forget to peruse what the grill has to offer or check out the fragrant biriyanis. Each dish at Farzi is prepared with perfection in mind; this modern Indian bistro is serving its own interpretation loud and proud, and it might just be the best thing you've ever eaten.
