On luxurious Brompton Road, Caffè Concerto sets a refined tone in the heart of one of London’s most prestigious neighbourhoods.

Italian cuisine, a fine selection of drinks and attentive, sophisticated service meet in a spacious room dressed with stylish décor. The mood is premium and restaurant focused, with a quiet polish that nods to Michelin level dining.

Mornings begin indulgently or cleanly, according to taste: perhaps a full English breakfast, cooked just-so, or the garden breakfast bringing eggs, avocado and halloumi to the fore. Health conscious choices are equally considered, from granola layered with yogurt, berries and honey to porridge made with almond milk, finished with the gentle crunch of chia and a drizzle of honey.

Through the day, continental comfort steps in. An open smoked salmon sandwich with soft cheese, dill and capers is as elegant as its postcode, while chicken pesto and artichoke offers creamy richness with a leafy lift of spinach. There is shakshuka, its cumin spiced tomato sauce deepened by confit peppers, and a croque monsieur cloaked in molten cheese and béchamel.

Whether it is a high end meal or a lingering coffee, this is Knightsbridge hospitality at its most polished make a date, take a seat, and let the concerto play.
