On its pristine shores, the BBC building winks from Portland Place. Located in the hustle and bustle of Fitzrovia's professional district, RAW welcomes everyone from the suited and booted to anyone simply craving the push and pull of the seaside. Indeed, that free-spirited tranquillity is never far away in their chic dining room that takes on an aquatic vibe with crisp whites, calming creams, and vibrant blues.

The menu celebrates the splendor of seafood. For starters, some Maldon or seasonal oysters never go amiss, especially when paired with a glass of fizz and chewy sourdough bread. Your evening is going swimmingly so far, but their mains are about to knock your socks off. Think crispy prawn, cod and cuttlefish tempura, grilled octopus and a spellbinding seaweed gnocchi with a mussel ragu.

The south coast is also making a name for itself with some miso Cornish monkfish and the hearty Cornish mackerel sandwich.
