Gallio

Gallio brings the vibrant spirit of the Eastern Mediterranean to Central London. Located on Charlotte Street in Fitzrovia, it offers an all-day experience shaped by fresh ingredients, handcrafted techniques and the simple pleasure of sharing from breakfast through to dinner.

At its heart is freshly made dough, prepared by hand each day and served hot from the oven as flatbreads, pitas, pizzas and warm breads for dipping. Mezze sets the pace, with smooth garlic hummus and cool tzatziki ready for tearing and scooping, while cheese manakish and onion bazlama fill the room with the aromas of garlic, oregano and za’atar.

The menu travels widely across the region. A saffron seafood stew brings white fish, mussels and tiger prawn together in a creamy broth lifted with chilli, served with homemade pita. Beef stifado arrives aromatic with spices over soft rice pilaf. Guests can savour the char of an octopus and sujuk chorizo skewer finished with walnut crunch, the brightness of an Aegean fattoush salad layered with herbs and citrus, and oven-baked signatures such as steak and cheese lavash with ras el hanout and kasar cheese, or lamb lahmacun enriched with tahini yoghurt and pomegranate.
