Akatuki in Covent Garden, offers a refined interpretation of traditional Japanese cuisine, channelling the rhythm of the neighbourhood into a dining room of soft light and dark wood. Every detail is considered: premium ingredients, elegant presentation and a balance of heritage and modern city verve.

The menu moves with quiet confidence from silky sashimi to rich, simmering hot pots, inviting guests to savour texture, temperature and nuance. It is food designed to be lingered over, where clean, precise flavours take centre stage and craft meets restraint.

At the bar, a polished cocktail list nods to florals and fruit: the Lychee Martini and Hibiscus Margarita bring gentle lift, alongside spirit-forward signatures like the Wagyu Old Fashioned. Those steering clear of alcohol are well served by thoughtful options such as Matcha and Coconut or Hibiscus Elderflower

Equally suited to a swift pre-theatre bite or an unhurried supper, Akatuki blends composure with warmth, making every visit feel special. Book your table, settle into the glow, and let the chopsticks do the talking.
