Situated in the scenic coastal pocket of Wallasey on The Wirral, Prezzo Italian offers a warm, welcoming setting with a spacious yet cosy interior, perfect for everything from casual lunches to romantic dinners.

Whenever the weather plays along, the outdoor area invites al fresco lingering, ideal for sipping refreshing drinks and savouring Italian favourites in the sunshine.

To begin, familiar, feel-good flavours set a comforting tone. Nibbles of mixed olives and warm focaccia bread served with olive oil and balsamic ease you in, followed by crisp tomato bruschetta or a fresh slice of garlic bread.

Main courses keep things wonderfully classic. Options span from a fragrant margherita or a punchy pepperoni pizza to pastas ranging from the creamy comfort of spaghetti carbonara to the lively heat of arrabbiata. Calzones also make a satisfying arrival, served with a side salad.

Heartier appetites can turn to the grill for the Prezzo Burger and the grande cheeseburger, while sides run from simple house fries to chilli garlic cheese fries. Lighter cravings find their match in a Caesar salad, while the finale is decidedly indulgent - tiramisu or hot chocolate fudge cake, rounded off with an espresso or a cappuccino.

Settle into a banquette or bask outdoors and let the easy warmth of this spot do the rest. Make a date in New Brighton and follow your appetite - it's amore at first bite!
