Since the 1700s, The Boarding House has been part of Howwood’s story. Once a stop for weary travellers, today we’re an independently family-owned village gastropub where locals and visitors come together to eat, drink and celebrate.
Our menus are built around honest food, good quality ingredients and proper value… from pub classics like freshly battered fish & chips, steak & ale pie and burgers, to steaks, seasonal dishes and smaller plates. Everything is freshly made in-house by our chefs.
