Mallroad Indian Restaurant brings the time-honoured flavours of the subcontinent to Bishopbriggs with an easy confidence.

Their focus lies in the classic techniques, mixed with bold spicework. It's all about balancing warmth, tang and gentle heat in dishes to create a menu that is both familiar and fresh.

Early bites set the tone: garlic prawns with a kiss of spice, vegetable samosa that crackle into life, and the ever-comforting chicken pakora or mix pakora. There is the soft indulgence of chicken poori and prawn poori, too, each a tidy parcel for scooping and sharing. From the glow of the tandoor come chicken tikka and lamb tikka, offered as starters or in fuller tandoori plates, while special mix combo platters invite a little bit of everything across the table.

Curries stride from creamy to fiery with sure-footed intent. Dahi tawa and jaipuri jeera tawa showcase skillet character and cumin warmth. House signatures span the punch and perfume of South Indian garlic chilli to the gentle richness of special butter masala. It all adds up to satisfying, unpretentious dining, ideal for lingering over conversation and another round of naan.

Book a table, bring your appetite, and let Mallroad take you for a delicious spin.
