Cuisine: A La Carte, Burgers, Steakhouse
Price Point: Mains from £10-£20

Famed for its unbeatable burgers and succulent steaks, The Oxtail is your answer to a family-friendly dinner in the middle of the city.

Deep red walls, plush booths, and dark furnishings give this restaurant a cosy feel while also basking in spaciousness and natural light from its rooftop windows. Squash the gang into a corner booth and get the napkins at the ready... it's going to be a messy ride!

Say adios to table manners and start as you mean to go on with some marinated crispy chicken wings or a sticky gambas skewer with aioli sauce. Get everyone involved with some Oxtail nachos... they're nachos like you've never seen them before.

Whether you like to go classic or edgy with your burger, there's something for everyone. Pulled pork is never a bad shout and neither is the Scotsman, a beef patty complete with haggis and a whisky sauce. There is also a fish and chips burger (are we in heaven?) as well as a mac and cheese number, perfect for vegetarians. If you don't want dinner in a brioche bun, tuck into some braised pork ribs or a confit duck leg with calvados. At Oxtail, if you haven't left with a stained shirt you haven't done it right.

Had a steak night with my daughter. We both had Steak and chips , one with mustard sauce and the other with blue cheese sauce. Also had onion rings , tomato and salad. Had pancakes with apple compote, caramel sauce, vanilla ice cream and fresh fruit. To drink we both had ginger beer, i also had a baileys latte.
From first mouth full to last was delicious, great food served by great staff. Fantastic value for money.
