In the heart of Penarth, Hickmans is the brand-new address from Gastro Foods, bringing its relaxed yet refined sensibility to a stunning setting.

The latest in a trio that includes Llantwit Major and Sully, Hickmans channels the group’s love of soulful, local and honest cooking, served with an eye for detail. It's a venue made for occasions big or small, where the backdrop is as memorable as the meal.

The menu leans into flame, smoke and straightforward flavour. Mains revolve around generous cuts and deft technique, so think tender lamb rump, cooked to perfection, and fresh, flaky salmon with asparagus.

Moving away from the grill, the kitchen executes elevated pub staples, delivering crackling, golden fish and chips, a deeply savoury tomato risotto, and pillowy prawn gnocchi.

The atmosphere does the rest. Warm, inviting and effortlessly polished, it's the kind of room that makes every visit feel special. Book a table now at Hickmans and let the time unfold - everything is set, and your plans are deliciously sorted!
