Why head to Naples for a foodie holiday when you have classic Italian cuisine on your doorstep?

Giovanni’s is Cardiff’s answer to the typically quaint and traditional ristorante you would stumble across down any Italian city’s side streets.

Walking into either of Giovanni’s city locations, with walls adorned by photographs of the restaurants and the often-famous clientele that have dined there – Giovanni alongside them for the most part – will have you feeling as though you’ve stepped into a proud Mamma’s dining room.

Giovanni’s has been proudly serving Cardiff for over three decades and as a testament to the quality and authenticity of the food on offer, is the longest running Italian restaurant in the city. No-fuss classic dishes such as scallops al Limone and the Napoletana alongside countless others keep customers returning, decade after decade.

The wine list is as typically traditional and extensive as the food menu, with a number of Italian classics, Sangiovese included, as well as continental and international offerings.

So before you book a flight for your next food adventure, be sure to give Giovanni’s a visit and see if they can’t convince you to stay right where you are.
