Located in Future Inn Cardiff, Thomas Restaurant prides itself in shining the light on traditional Welsh food. Homey, comfortable and unpretentious, they boast a laid-back, friendly atmosphere. The dining room itself is extensive, offering every diner plenty of space to stretch out in and soak in the sun's rays that stream in from the glass wall that overlooks the city. And thanks to its elevated position, Thomas Restaurant has one of the best panoramic views!

As for the food, local and sustainable produce forms the baseline for some pretty spectacular plates. Thanks to its endlessly green landscapes, Wales has some of the best beef in the UK, making the restaurant's Celtic pride rump and ribeye steaks simply mouth-watering. Served with grilled tomatoes, French fries and a sauce of your choice, this isn't a feast you want to miss out on. As for the Celtic pride steak burger, you can just imagine how epic this one is too.

Great meat like lamb rump, BBQ ribs, and roast chicken are some of the showstoppers on this menu; but they are by no means are they the only ones. Enjoy a forkful of Italian summers with a vegetarian and prawn tagliatelle pasta bowl or embrace bold Indian flavours with a Punjabi potato curry. If however, you want to carry on with your traditional Welsh journey, you couldn't do better than a Welsh lamb stew that can be mopped up with a crusty bread roll. Now that's a taste of Cymru.
