A winning eatery courtesy of the Bianchis Group, Pazzo merges authentic Italian food with unadulterated merriment that will keep you out way past your bedtime.

You'll find them on Whiteladies Road. Conveniently situated if you're enjoying a day about town, Pazzo is an energising spot that is clean, lean and green. What that means is that they've created a modern yet traditional space that boasts all the elegance of a smart Italian bistro whilst also going easy on the accessories in order to keep the whole place streamlined and clutter-free.

The chefs here are some of the best in the city, and they're treated as such. They're afforded the freedom to create new and exciting dishes, which is very good news for diners! To give you a taste of their innovation, some standout dishes include the fresh truffle lasagne fritti dressed in a green sauce, curried goat tortellini and violet aubergine with tropea onion, and stracciatelle.

They're also not afraid to dip their toes into other cuisines either, be that to Japan for hispi cabbage drizzled with miso butter or France for duck breast and confit leg. Dolci, however, is naturally Italian with chocolate almond tarts and creamy panna cottas. Life is, after all, always sweeter the Italian way.
