In Redland, MEY·ZE shines a light on the vibrant, often unsung world of Turkish meze.

The vision is guided by founder Ece Seval, who grew up in Turkey with meze at the heart of every table. After training in bakery and opening a bakery in Bristol, she returns to the flavours that shaped her childhood, presenting them with a fresh, modern touch that respects tradition while feeling distinctly contemporary.

Small plates, big personality: Mediterranean freshness meets Eastern spices, made for grazing, sharing and lingering. From the cold plates, the spicy bulgur tartare, a plant-based take on the Anatolian classic çiğ köfte, sits alongside creamy haydari and smoky ezme.

From the hotplates, lightly fried calamari, vegan lahmacun on crisp mini flatbreads ready to roll, and Ottoman-style aubergine in rich tomato. To finish, crisp pistachio baklava or an affogato with Turkish coffee.
