Tucked away behind the wedding cake façade of the Bristol Harbour Hotel, in the former Lloyds bank building, The Jetty restaurant gives a tasteful nod to Bristol’s maritime history.

The airy, open plan restaurant draws inspiration from legendary cruise liners such as The Titanic with tasteful aqua marine fabrics, while panels of traditional Bristol blue glass in the windows send colourful light dancing across the room.

The food also looks to the ocean. Choose from whole seasonal fish such as flaky lemon sole or meaty sea bass from the Catch of the Day menu, or opt for the mixed fish grill, a platter laden with prawns, mussels, brill and bream, all swimming in garlicky butter.

Feeling thirsty? The wine selection is superb, with more than 100 options to choose from. Whether you’re looking to toast a special occasion with cult classics, such as the Mersault premier cru from Domain Buissan-Charles, or an easy drinking Syrah from South Africa, they’ve got you covered.

Great friendly service from every staff member we met and the standard of food was far greater than we expected. Good value for money and will be going back ASAP
Varied menu choices so something for everyone a real alternative and better option than hotel du vin

Wow, the food and service at the jetty is to die for. Great seafood and great soufflé. Steaks were top notch and the apple dessert and coffee dessert were both to die for quite possibly the best I've had. Couldn't fault the food or the service. Will be returning again very soon

The restaurant looks nice and is a good temperature, we were sat next to the open kitchen but it wasn't too noisy. We had a lovely waitress who was chatty and friendly. The starters were amazing, I had carpaccio and it was melt in the mouth delicious. The mains were very nice but perhaps a bit small. Good drinks list, nice atmosphere, would definitely visit again.

The decor was stunning. Service was friendly but a little laid back. As it was a chilled weekday evening, I was in no hurry so this was fine.

Food was tasty. Good Tempura Prawns for starter. Very generous sized ribeye steak that was cooked well with the best chips EVER! Good wine list.

My husband and I took my parents for an evening meal on a Saturday night , lovely ambiance in the restaurant, very stylish. Our Server was very polite and attentive. We all had 2 courses and apart from one of the ( huge ! ) steaks needing to be returned for a little more frying , it was excellent. Would recommend the cod and crab fillet - return visit definitely.

- dined at The Jetty on

First time at The Jetty, meeting up with old college friends. We had a fantastic dining experience, a lovely convivial evening set against a backdrop of Bristol blue glass decor. One of the party ordered chowder starters followed by bisque, others had king prawn tempura starter and another was mozzarella and pickled walnuts and to follow a cod and crab main. The only dessert tried and shared was a coffee based one, as we felt really full. The food presentation really was fabulous, and the taste was really subtle and felt like good quality produce. We spent well over four hours there, and the service was just right, not too intrusive, but touched base every now and then to see if we needed anything. The evening flew by, and I can honestly say was one of the best complete dining experiences I’ve had in a long while. Great attention to detail from a kitchen with high standards- would thoroughly recommend. Also worthy of note and I feel it’s important to mention - the toilet facilities were immaculate! I texted a real foodie friend the following day who completely agreed with my analysis of the quality and presentation of food. Definitely one to recommend - it’s easy to miss this building in amongst the myriad of choices of eateries in the centre of Bristol, but just Google your way there!

Fantastic- I had my 1 year old and 3 year old children with me. Although I would recommend going without children. The staff were amazing. My daughter wanted olives (they were not on the menu) no problem they made it happen. My daughter wanted ice cream for dessert which wasn’t on the menu on its own - no problem they made it happen. Thank you for making my birthday meal special

What a wonderful dining experience we had at the Jetty. Located centrally, this lovely hotel was the perfect spot to have a few cocktails (happy hour cocktails £6!) before dinner.

The staff were attentive and welcoming and the menu was full of tasty classics.

The steak I ordered was cooked beautifully and I would definitely come here again. The meal felt like a really special treat and the Jetty would be a lovely spot to have a special meal.

My friend and I will definitely be coming back.

We had a really smooth relaxing and delicious evening.
From being shown to our seats to being wished goodnight at the end our evening was great.
Highlights were the tempura king prawns and then mixed fish grill with lovely little bits of samphire and kale as a bed the fish lay on.
The skate wing salmon praws mussels and bass were all beautifully cooked.
Sometimes an evening just makes you feel happy and this was one of those . I'll be back !

Had the best time, an impromptu first table booking after a stressful day of (last minute) Christmas shopping resulted in my boyfriend and I arriving at the Jetty for 6pm. We were told we were dining in the gold bar, a very cosy room just beside the upstairs bar of the hotel. Our waiter was fantastic and very attentive, and our order was taken swiftly despite many Christmas party’s taking place within the hotel.
I chose the fish pie with a market green side salad and my boyfriend had the beef burger with chips. FANTASTIC food - so good that we opted for a dessert of sticky toffee pudding which was a real treat.
Loved every moment, will definitely be returning!

Best dining experience of our lives! Totally memorable for all the right reasons. It was my girlfriend's birthday, which they helped celebrate with a special desert. The food , she had veal , and was perfectly cooked and very generous portion with crab infused mash!!!! A d the best chard we have ever had.. I ordered the mixed seafood grill. Every piece of seafood was cooked to perfection and seared wonderfully. With a side of fries. The waiters were amazing and helpfull. Really felt like they cared and took care of our questions and just iffered amaxing service. We could never afford this restaurant normally and with the 50% discount on food ,we were welcomed to experience a place that we normally couldn't go to. So thank you first table and a huge thank you for the jetty. A very memorable time!

This was our first dinner at the Jetty but seafood is always top of our list!
Firstly, the decor and ambiance are really good - big comfy chairs, low lighting and good background music all set the scene for a great romantic dinner. It was fairly quiet but that's to be expected for first table of the evening!
The wine list was excellent (I had more than planned!) and while we were perusing the menu we ordered some cockle popcorn -my god it was good - highly recommend!
All of the food was great and the seafood platter was amazing... a great mix of seafood but it was all cooked differently, so the tastes and textures were interesting and delicious. We were too stuffed for dessert so I can't comment on that, but we would both recommend The Jetty for a delightful, romantic seafood dinner :)

The Jetty - what a wonderful hidden gem of Bristol food scene! Although the restaurant is right at the heart of Bristol, I seem to have always passed it and probably would never even made my way there if it wasn’t for The First Table!
Me and my friend had a fantastic seafood feast, washed with a bottle of beautiful white wine, and it made us feel like being on a mini holiday somewhere on a coast! It truly was dine dining experience, with top quality food, exceptional details on every meal, and even the plates were elegant and unique! We could not have asked for more, we will be back to The Jetty and we will definitely be using First Table again!

- dined at The Jetty on

We had a lovely meal at The Jetty! Service was attentive and timely but not overly so. The food was delicious, we had the Ham Hock Croquettes, Burrata and tomatoes, Chateubriand, Lobster Mac and cheese and the cheesecake. The steak was cooked to perfection and exactly how we’d asked - just one small piece of feedback would be to perhaps leave the steak to rest before serving on the wooden board as there was a lot of “juice” around the edge of the board. Didn’t bother us but probably the only piece of constructive feedback I can provide as everything else was superb! The wine was also lovely and the ambience and atmosphere within the restaurant was enjoyable - good level of music and lighting. Will definitely go back!

- dined at The Jetty on

Arrived a little early and went for a cocktail in the Gold bar , great cocktail menu , service and ambiance! . Arrived at the jetty and were seated straight away to table , given the menu and wine list . I opted for the cod and crab with mash and my partner went for the steak. Lovely food with excellent presentation. Couldn’t quite manage a dessert each so shared the chocolate bomb , omg it was amazing! . The waiters very attentive at all times . I would definitely visit her again !

- dined at The Jetty on

Thrilled with the food and particularly the service in The Jetty. The food was great. It was my Auntie's birthday which I didn't pre-warn them, but they still made every effort to make it special once they knew! They even brought over cake with a birthday message without being asked, and didn't charge anything for this. It was a very special evening!

- dined at The Jetty on

Got there a little early so we’re seated at the bar whilst they set the booth we requested. Very attentive service from the outset - drinks at the bar and then taken to our table. Food arrived quickly - I had the cod and crab which was delicious. Also had a side of lobster mac and cheese which is insane! My partner had the fish and chips which he said was also delicious. Cocktails were fab too! Will definitely be back!!

The Jetty is in the beautiful old bank building at the top of Corn St and from the outside looks pretty special. Were greeted by friendly foh staff and waiter, who showed us to our table. We had a table for 2 with big comfy love seats, felt very cosy and private, perfect for a date! Waiting staff were really attentive, friendly, and helpful with information about the menu. The food was absolutely fantastic. We went for scallops and oysters to start, steak with sides of lobster mac n cheese, and greens, then the chocolate bomb and cheesecake for dessert! It was all lovely, but you really have to try the mac n cheese if you go. We finished with espresso martinis which were great. They have an excellent cocktail menu and wine list. Will definitely be back, had a lovely evening and would happily pay full price.

The Jetty is a wonderful place to dine - it’s located on Corn Street - a busy, noisy place. But stepping into The Jetty from Corn Street is like entering a new world, full of fine decor, serenity and great ambience. My friend started with Tonato and was full of praise for the pork loin and tuna combo - I had the home baked sourdough bread with tempura veg - simply delicious. For mains my friend close the chicken with prawns and lobster sauce and I had the Risoto that was cooked to perfection. Dessert we both went for the highly recommended Pimms Jelly - a must try. ALL our meals were presented as if they were fine works of art and they tasted as superb as they looked. We washed our meal down with a classic G&T and Savigion. We were served by Victor and he was attentive, sensitive and made our dining experience truly 5 star. High Praise for the Jetty - looking forward to trying their seafood next time I visit.

Booking was easy!
Arrival was warm and welcoming!
Beautiful interior, service was very attentive without being intrusive - and the food was to die for! I had oysters to start, which were huge, and fillet steak which was cooked to perfection! My friend enjoyed the cheese souffle and crumbed cod which both looked delicious! Fat chips were second to none - but be sure to try to bone marrow gnocchi - it was to die for! Didn't sample any desserts, but all looked great coming past our table! Washed down with a well priced bottle of wine! Great evening!

The Jetty has only recently been added onto First Table so there weren't many reviews to go on however I am so glad that we took the chance. The food was absolutely brilliant, as was the service and attentiveness of the waiting staff. I had the Fruits de Mer platter which had been prepared excellently by the chefs with all the seafood, especially the oysters tasting really fresh as they should be. I would highly recommend visiting the Jetty especially if you are a fish lover as myself - we will definitely be visiting again and I am already looking forward to it!!

- dined at The Jetty on

I took my wife here for date night on Sunday just gone and we had a lovely meal. We had both been before some time ago and were excited to return. We were made to feel very welcome from the minute we arrived and the whole evening was nice and relaxed. We shared some tempura prawns to start which were hot and delicious. My wife went for the fish pie and I had the cod wrapped in ham. Both dishes were hot, light and extremely tasty. There were so many good choices on the menu it was hard to choose.
Although we were quite full we decided to share a lemon tart, which we both agreed was one of the best we have ever had, and we have had a lot!! Overall great food and great service. We left feeling very happy. We were half way down the road when George, who looked after us came running down the road to hand over a £20 note I had dropped on the floor. A great example of above and beyond service. We are very happy that this restaurant is on First Table but even if it wasn’t we would still be returning again and again.

Let me be the first to rate this restaurant, I came here for my birthday and there were no reviews to base my choice of which restaurant to pick for my date night with my husband. I knew I wanted to have seafood so this was a good pick already! Although he’s not keen on fish, I saw the menu had steak, a man never say’s No to steak right? !!!!!!So this was the perfect choice of trying this restaurant.
The restaurant has a very relaxed atmosphere, the staff were very polite and helpful.
Our waiter was lovely ...we chose the seafood platter which was lovely and the oysters tasted fresh. We also picked the steak to share...what can I say? Best steak ever... just melted in your mouth and no chewiness, came with hot chips and good tasty onion rings.
We left feeling full and satisfied, for the price we paid.. definitely was a good choice. If it wasn’t for first table we wouldn’t have known about this restaurant.
Hope to visit again in the future ..just to relive that steak experience !!!

A lovely restaurant - it was beautifully decorated and we were shown to a booth type area made up of lovely comfortable, but sturdy sofas. The staff were lovely - relaxed, young and attentive to our needs.
The food was excellent - we had the scallops, seafood burger and the kids had the pasta and the burger followed by ice cream for the kids, a chocolate dessert and a cheese board. All was lovely, well presented and tasty. The kids menu had a great range and would have been good value even without the firsttable discount!
The only and very small thing I would mention is that the waiting time for food was a little long - we sat at 6pm and ordered within about 15 mins and then it was a wait of around 30 mins - which I would normally not be bothered about but with the kids it was a touch long - it was the same wait again for dessert..although they did note and apologise for the desert wait, so it really wasn’t an issue.
All in all a fantastic restaurant, with lovely stuff and fabulous food!
Would highly recommend.
