What began as a friendly burger van and regular pop-up kitchen has now grown into a fully-fledged restaurant in Bristol. If you're a frequent festival goer, you might have already sampled a Burger Theory burger alongside one (or all) of their craft beers or cocktails.
So, they theorise that we, as human beings, simply cannot get enough of burgers. They're right! Conveniently located on St. Stephen's Street, Burger Theory is a fantastic place to drop in whether you're a visitor exploring the town, or a local on your way home from work. You'll enjoy the über-relaxed dining setting which welcomes groups of all sizes to its long picnic tables and the relaxed outdoor seating on the side terrace. Where can you test the theory? Just look out for cheery orange and blue planters, and you know you've arrived.
What does this delicious theory taste like? They go old-school with a classic beef patty, American cheese, pickles, and salad, while also mixing it up with Southern fried chicken, grilled satay chicken, and lamb kofta patties. All served with a mix of blue cheese, peanut, bourbon BBQ and red chilli sauce, they're not afraid to bring out the big guns when it comes to flavour!
As for vegetarian options, they offer alternative 'beef' and 'chick'n' patties and giant portobello mushrooms, because a good theory is a theory for all. Add any of their four kinds of fries, loaded or otherwise, consider some wings or Korean fried chicken bites on the side and prepare for the mother of all food comas. Lastly, just so you know, no Burger Theory meal is complete without a cocktail...or three.
