What an amazing dinner!!! The staff were very welcoming and the venue itself was absolutely stunning!!
Having the first table of the night meant that we had the opportunity to take in the beautiful restaurant and it’s decor.
The table service was fantastic and the food was delightful. The four of us had difficulty choosing our starters and main course due to the number of delicious options available on the menu!!
We will definitely return to the restaurant and will highly recommend to family and friends.
Thank you so much for an amazing evening!!

We arrived a little early and were prepared to wait but the staff showed us to our table straight away. The restaurant was empty when we went in there, but we were slowly joined by other dinners. The staff were fantastic and knew that we were waiting for one more person to turn up and we were not rushed at all! We ordered drinks and the starters both of which were delicious! We ordered a mixture of starters as some of us on the table hadn't had Greek food before (they all enjoyed it). It came to the mains and again we ordered 4 to share and the staff brought plates for us so we could all tuck into the different mains...again went down a storm with all of us. Just like in Greece, the staff were very attentive and continually filling glasses with water and made me feel like I was in Greece again. We ended up being in there for about 4 hours and the staff didn't rush us out and just let us enjoy the meal. I will defiently be going back to OPA as the food is as good as the food you get in Greece! 5*

From walking in the door, the decor and ambience was very impressive. They really make the effort to make you feel like you are abroad. The waiters were very attentive and polite and the food was simply delicious. We ordered lots of small plates and a main. It was a nice way to try a selection of different flavours. All of the dishes were made with love and care. Each one tasted sublime. Highly recommend you visit for a taste of Greece.

Second time here. The meze are great, wide selection and well prepared and tasty. Bit disappointed with the mains, chicken sovlaki was delicious but one skewer for 17 quid is a bit stingy. Veg mousaka was very bland, made with frozen veg. Nice place, good service, would go back but only for meze.

The food was really nice. We were told that the mixed mezze was not included within the First Table offer, which was frustrating. But the waitress provided us with a solution by showing us that we could order the items within that individually and make our own.

We were asked if we wanted the dishes to come out as and when they were ready, or all at once. We chose the former and they came out at regular intervals.

The food was really nice and the portions were large for mezzes. The staff were attentative and ensured we had enough water throughout.

Our first visit to 'Opa', and we were not disappointed!
A beautiful Restaurant with a Mediterranean feel about it.

We each had a different Starter and Main course, and could not fault any of it.
Also the service was excellent, We all agreed we will be returning!

Excellent food, with an extra-feta experience for us last night. The feta in filo pastry starter was delicious, the sweetness of the honey really adding to the flavour. There was more feta in the mash later, for what felt like a Greek spin on meat and potatoes. Really tasty and very filling! We had planned to get dessert, but were defeated by the mighty mains.

The decor at Opa is glorious; we were sat upstairs, looking down at two immense pillars in front of a staircase. There are giant screens on the walls, showcasing various hotspots in Greece. Which was actually quite handy, as we're planning a holiday in Corfu: thanks to Opa, we got a useful summary of the main tourist highlights. :D

Second visit to this venue. We really enjoyed it first time round and the second time didn't disappoint. The food and the service were top notch. First time we went we ordered a lot of starters and had a tapas style dinner. This time round we ordered everything we didn't eat the first time and it was just as yummy. Highly recommend, especially if you can pick it up on first table. Great food at an even better price. You won't be disappointed.

Excellent atmosphere. We decided to celebrate our 1st year aniversary together at the Opa and were overall very impressed. Having recently come back from a Greek holiday, the restaurant/bar area were as close to the authentic Greek feel we’ve yet found in the Bristol area. Opting for the meze meal, we were impressed with the food quality, our only complaint being we wanted more of it!

A slightly confusing venue on arrival as we couldn’t see any staff and weren’t sure whether to go downstairs to the bar area or upstairs where we could see tables. We spotted a waiter in a room behind the bar and got his attention whereby he led us upstairs. As we were dining at 6pm the restaurant wasn’t busy and felt a little cold, our waiter told us the place used to be a nightclub which explained the nooks and crannies and stairs going up, down and all over the place. The decor was bathed in blue light with the interior based on a Greek theme with pillars and domed ceiling. There was also a giant tv screen in one area with a wave lapped beach featured. Our food arrived promptly, our pita bread was a bit too salty but the olives that came with it were delicious and juicy. We both had a generous portion of moussaka with Greek salad, my feedback would be that this was slightly over cooked but still perfectly edible. We had fun guessing the tracks and artists from an 80s playlist audible in the background. I had two different glasses of wine which were both great. I’m not sure why 2 of the dessert choices were unavailable but it wasn’t a huge issue and the waiter did let us know straightaway. I think it would be nice to return and see the restaurant when it’s busier, the layout is still reminiscent of a club as there are lots of multi level corners with separate seating. My visit to the ladies loo was entertaining as the loo seats were gold and glittery and I had to take a picture. I think the restaurant overall is fine, with a bit of tweaking it could be great.

Delicious Mezze! We had tender Octopus, delicious Scallop and Prawn Saganaki, Calamari, Greek Salad and Gigantes (large butter beans baked in a delicious sauce with feta cheese) Service was friendly and efficient. Can’t wait to recommend Opa and First Table to our friends.

Lovely meal in a wonderful setting. Unfortunately my two choices were not available (so I'd like to go back to try them) but otherwise I still enjoyed what I ate - octopus followed by sea bream. The sea bream was a generous portion as were the other mains - lamb shank and seafood risotto. The only small criticism was some of the seafood in the crayfish and scallop starter and risotto main was slightly overcooked. At full price the starters are a bit expensive but the mains are appropriately priced based on the ingredients and portion size.
