Nice environment with welcoming staff. Good menu choices with fast service. Starters ok but had better. Squid was very smoky flavoured which was unexpected. Mains good.

Welcomed in to this lovely restaurant and we ate a delicious selection of dishes. We ordered vegetarian and had the most delicious aubergine and spiced vermicelli among the variety of great dishes.

I took my friend out for her birthday last week and we each got the 3-course set dinner menu and a pint. It came with 4 different starters, crispy duck, vegetables and pancakes to make little rolls, and rice, vegetables, chicken and beef as the main courses. There was SO much food and it was all delicious. We had a lot to catch up and and were talking a lot and we never felt rushed by the staff to move on to the next course. They were all extremely polite and we really enjoyed our dinner. Going with first table was great because it's a really nice restaurant and the prices are beyond what I'd normally pay, but not that I've been there I'd definitely go back for a special occasion.

Well presented and delicious food, sesame prawn fingers and beef in black bean sauce were excellent. House wine, white, Pinot Grigio was very reasonable and went well with the food. Staff are lovely. Restaurant was cosy and warm.

Cathay Rendezvous is a really nice Chinese restaurant. It has a old school charm when you walk in the door as this is an old converted house. The setting was nice and the staff were very good. I did enjoy the food. The squid and the beef dishes were very tasty. It can be quite hot (spicy) so do be prepared.
