dinner

Tucked into Brighton’s storied North Laine, North Laine Café sits on Jubilee Street, just a short stroll from the station, channelling the area’s industrial heritage into a vibrant evening retreat.

By night, the venue transforms into an inviting neighbourhood spot with a cosy interior tailor-made for unhurried dinners and shared conversation.

In the kitchen, the focus is on generous, flavour-packed small plates made for passing around the table. Diners can tuck into dishes like grilled gambas in rich chorizo butter, slow-cooked beef cheek skewers finished with a savoury glaze, and golden fried halloumi paired with sweet fig jam. Every plate lets vibrant Mediterranean ingredients take centre stage without fuss.

Whether you're sharing tapas with friends or settling in for an intimate evening meal, there's always a warm welcome waiting. Pull up a chair, order a spread to share, and enjoy the relaxed rhythm of Brighton after dark.
