Mixto! lands in Hove with a vibrant take on Latin–Japanese sushi fusion.

Here, the subtlety and poise of Japanese technique meet the sun-drenched spirit of South America, filtered through the chefs’ Venezuelan roots and a devotion to local sourcing.

Ethically sustainable fish from nearby waters and speciality produce from Brighton and Hove underpin a menu that is seasonal, curious, and full of contrast, crisp against creamy, citrus lifting umami, heat flirting with freshness.

Handmade sushi shares the stage with nori tacos and colourful poké bowls. From familiar tiger rolls to crispy gyoza, the kitchen spins tradition and experiment into something distinctly its own, inviting diners to explore without ever losing their bearings.

Build-your-own poké keeps things personal: think fresh salmon or prawn tempura over sushi rice or udon noodles. Meanwhile, tacos range from taco crudo with fresh salmon or tuna to taco chido filled with crunchy tempura options. Book in and let the good times roll.
