Settled within the Georgian grandeur of Lightwoods House and Park, 1000 Trades on the Park brings the easy charm of an independent tearoom, pub, and kitchen to Bearwood.

Drawing on roots in the Jewellery Quarter, it blends the comfort of a true local with the poise of a Grade II-listed setting, open-armed to park wanderers and neighbourhood regulars alike.

As evening settles, the kitchen shifts to refined pub classics, cooked from scratch and led by the seasons. Think wild mushroom and truffle risotto lifted with confit garlic, parmesan, and chive oil, or king prawn linguine with samphire, spinach, and a citrus white wine cream.

Share plates of Kentucky fried tofu, halloumi fries with tomato chilli jam, and tempura king prawns as conversation flows through the night. Finish with blueberry and lime cheesecake on a gingernut base or vanilla panna cotta with autumn fruits.

Made for casual meet-ups, family suppers, and community gatherings, it is a space to feel at home. Bring the little ones for burgers or fish fingers, or swing by after a stroll in the park. Pull up a chair and let Bearwood’s newest old soul do the rest.
