Set in Finaghy, Belfast, The Devenish Complex deals in comfort and conviviality, serving familiar flavours with a confident hand.

It’s the sort of place where the classics are celebrated, where plates arrive generous and honest, and where the focus is firmly on satisfying, straightforward cooking.

The kitchen leans into crowd-pleasing favourites: a stacked 6oz beef burger layered with smoked bacon, cheese and caramelised onion; tender salt and chilli chicken in a curry sauce; and a traditional homemade lasagne.

Pizzas run from a classic margherita to a hearty meat feast, while sides keep things simple and satisfying with chunky chips or a crisp house salad. Dips are unapologetically moreish, from garlic mayo to BBQ, made for dunking and sharing.

Sweet tooths are well looked after with a triple chocolate fudge cake and a cheesecake of the day that changes with the chef’s whim.

Come for an easy-going bite, linger for the unfussy charm, and leave feeling well looked after. Pull up a chair, bring an appetite, and let The Devenish Complex do what it does best: comfort on a plate with a wink on the side.
