KUBO

KUBO brings a one-of-a-kind Filipino food experience to Belfast, channelling tradition and family recipes through a modern lens.

There are beef kare-kare dumplings served with a peanut-annatto sauce and peanut chilli crisp, alongside Inasal chicken wings slicked in an annatto chicken butter. Sides run from garlic bay leaf rice to addictive chicken chicharrón, with punchy condiments like crab fat (talangka) mayo always close to hand. True to its name, KUBO also celebrates the communal spirit of the islands with Belfast’s first authentic Kamayan kit.
