dinner

Set on Donegall Quay, The River Rooms brings a layered dining experience to Belfast, with three distinct levels each dialling up a different mood.

One moment it's classic, satisfying cooking with speciality beverages and small plates in lively surroundings. The next, guests are swept into the sparkling luxury of the Lagan Suite, a flourish of extravagant French styling suited to both grand celebrations and intimate soirées. Completing the mix, Ted's Restaurant leans fun and funky, ideal for casual get-togethers or a night that grows into a party.

In the kitchen, the culinary approach is modern and crowd-pleasing with a touch of continental polish. Think seared scallops against cauliflower purée and lemon beurre noisette, or crispy honey chilli chicken that balances sweetness with a playful kick.

Prime cuts make a statement with a ten-ounce fillet steak featuring truffle notes, dress in a peppercorn cream sauce. At the same time, local pedigree shines through in Ewing’s crispy hake with lemon-buttered fondant potato and a bright pea purée. For a sweet finish, desserts offer comfort in a bowl: sticky toffee pudding with rich butterscotch and vanilla bean ice cream.

Whether it's small plates and a handcrafted drink or a dressed-up dinner in the Lagan Suite, The River Rooms makes every occasion feel like the main event!
