Sheffield’s Orchard Square plays host to Terrace Goods, a proudly independent, Sheffield-owned bar and kitchen that opened in 2020 — just days before lockdown — and has since cemented its place in the city’s vibrant indie scene. A lively, rock n' roll spirit runs through the venue, where dogs and diners are equally welcome. Choose between the fully heated terrace overlooking the square or a cosy indoor bar, both primed for laid-back afternoons and easy evenings.

In the kitchen, comfort meets swagger. Detroit pizza leads the charge, from the classic pull of the Traditional Red Stripe to bolder numbers crowned with birria beef, pink onions and coriander. Hot chicken has its moment too: think the Classic Crack Chicken Sandwich with pickles and crack sauce, or a Boneless Wings Basket with blue cheese ranch and celery. Crowd-pleasing plates like Mozzarella Sticks and Sauce and Birria Tacos invite liberal dunking in BBQ or Garlic Mayo.

Behind the bar, they pour draught beer, mix easygoing cocktails and shake excellent margaritas, all delivered by a passionate team keen on good times and genuine hospitality. The soundtrack and the service go hand in hand: energetic, unpretentious and set to a steady hum of good vibes.

Round up your crew, claim a perch on the terrace or settle in at the bar, and let pizza, hot chicken and a margarita do the talking. Swing by for a slice of Sheffield spirit — and let the good times roll.
