Grappa Italian Restaurant and Bar brings a slice of La Dolce Vita to Broomhall, Sheffield. Warm, convivial and distinctly Italian, it is the kind of place where relaxed lunches stretch happily into the afternoon and evenings hum with clinking glasses and easy conversation. The welcome is heartfelt, the mood unhurried, and the spirit unmistakably Mediterranean.

In the kitchen, tradition takes centre stage. Artisan Neapolitan pizzas are fired in a Gianni Acunto oven for that airy crust and gentle char, while freshly made pasta arrives glossy and generous. Think the comforting pull of a classic carbonara, the simplicity of a margherita done properly, or seafood tangled through spaghetti with a lick of white wine and chilli. Small plates of cicchetti and antipasti invite sharing, from pane e olive to salumi, and desserts lean indulgent with tiramisu or a scoop of gelato to finish.

At the bar, handcrafted cocktails and fine wines lead the way, alongside an extensive grappa list said to be the largest in the UK. It all adds up to a setting made for date nights, family gatherings and spirited celebrations alike. Book a table, gather your favourite people, and let the conversation flow — a little La Dolce Vita goes a long way.
