Tucked just off Dereham Road in Norwich city centre, Oishii Street Kitchen is the sort of little gem diners love to stumble upon.

The space is cosy and inviting, combining chilled vibes with a friendly team that keeps the pace easy and the welcome warm. It is the place people recommend when only freshly cooked burgers, fries and fried chicken will do.

Here, the kitchen riffs on Asian street-food flavours, folding them into stacked burgers, glazed wings and generous rice bowls. Think a bibimbap bowl layered with roast chicken, kimchi and crisp pickles, or Hello Katsu with popcorn chicken and homemade curry sauce.

Beef loyalists can zero in on the Shogun or Seoul, while plant-based fans have fun with the Vegan Godzilla or Psy, where fried seitan, gochujang mayo and kewpie slaw bring the crunch and the kick.

On the side, there are smacked cucumber and Oishii White Slaw, plus fries that go big on character: Korean variants crowned with gochujang mayo and crispy onion, or Thai options drizzled with satay and sriracha, scattered with crushed peanuts and coriander.

To finish, a double chocolate brownie swirled with miso salted caramel, or apple gyoza dusted in cinnamon sugar with miso caramel, sweetens the send-off.

Whether gathering a crowd or keeping it casual, guests can enjoy attentive service, space for larger groups, and a relaxed outdoor spot when the weather allows. Book your table, follow your cravings, and discover Norwich's Oishii moment - just don't forget the napkins!
