PizzaExpress Gateshead MetroCentre brings a sense of easy-going charm to Gateshead, blending a welcoming atmosphere with an Italian-inspired menu perfected over time. Hand stretched pizzas arrive with bright, balanced toppings: from the timeless Margherita and American Hot to the gentle sweetness of the Padana, each one celebrating quality ingredients and quiet mastery.

The space feels both modern and relaxed, glowing with soft light and the energy of the open kitchen. It’s ideal for every occasion, from a quick midweek bite to a long, cheerful supper, with friendly service that keeps the mood just right.

Start with small plates of marinated olives or slow-roasted tomatoes, then move on to playful favourites like the hot honey or pesto Dough Balls. Beyond pizza, comforting classics such as Pollo Pesto and Lasagna Classica hold their own, alongside vibrant salads and wholesome bowls. Sip on a sparkling spritz, an Espresso Martini, or one of the house lemonades.
