Who doesn't want to be seen in London's hottest spots, cocktail in hand, catching up with friends over tapas or a table full of tasty plates? And what’s better than a wallet-friendly find on First Table?

When it comes to cocktail dates and shared plates, we've got you covered. Here's our list of hot spots in London, so you can plan your next night out with the guys, gals and pals and get 50% off the food bill.

Chick n Sours, London Cocktails

Chick n Sours Seven Dials and Haggerston

How best to bond, than over fried chicken at Chick n Sours (Seven Dials or Haggeston locations). Indulge in a fried chicken sandwich like the 'buffalo soldier' with hot disco wing sauce, St Agur and buttermilk sauce and kimchi. Alternatively, get your bib on and tuck into disco wings and crispy tenders. And for the sours? We're talking gin, crème de mure, raspberry shrub and black currant leaf (named the Chick ‘n’ club) or the likes of The Mexicanese (tequilafied) and the Habanero jungle bird.

Merchant & Weaver, London cocktails

Merchant and Weaver

Old school glamour in a grand setting, Merchant and Weaver is frequented by Spitalfield’s trendy socialites. Small plates feature beer battered courgette, baked chicken thigh with salted lemon and olive broth, or red wine braised baby back ribs. Did someone say moreish? And for the glamour - salted soy caramel martini, bloody Mary's or a cheeky pina colada should set you apart.

Brother Marcus Borough, Cocktails London

Brother Marcus Borough

The meanest mezze around, Brother Marcus has opened its fourth taste of the Eastern Mediterranean in London. Small plates range from scallops in anchovy butter to feta and halloumi börek or BBQ pork skewers with labneh and hazelnut. Or visit the rips and dips menu for all the houmous, baba ghanoush and tzatziki you could ask for. Med-inspired cocktails include Greek palomo (tequila), Skopelos siren (gin) or the Kokkinos sunset (vodka) just to get you started!

Sager + Wilde, Cocktails London

Sager + Wilde Paradise Row

Burrata soused tomatoes with chilli oil, baked fig with pistachio and aged feta, or braised ox Ragu, it’s got to be Sager + Wilde. A gorgeous restaurant accompanied by a fairytale courtyard makes it one of the best-kept secrets in London. Sip away on a classic (martini or Negroni anyone?) or try out ‘the forager’ with Aberfeldy 12 scotch with honey, fig leaf and champagne, or the ‘ox fashioned’ el destilado de agave Mexicano, with orange wine cordial. Enjoy!

The Arber Garden, Cocktails London

The Arber Garden

Inspired by the legendary botanist and philosopher Agnes Arber, may we introduce to you, The Arber Garden. Take your pick from the flatbread menu, or savour the crispy squid, and take a seat in the gin garden, garden mojito or crystal Pina colada in hand! Take a leaf from Agnes' plate and try the botanist’s Negroni, the best mix in town.

Aerial Rooftop, London Cocktail Bar

Aerial Rooftop at The Broadcaster

Cosmopolitan luxury and drinks by sunset overlooking London’s skyline, the Aerial Rooftop is The Broadcaster's newest destination in White City. Get sharing with pork chop and peach ketchup, seabream with salsa verde and boneless chicken thighs with sticky BBQ sauce. Cocktails are extensive, so make sure you visit the cocktail colab menu for a twist on the favourites, or try the froze (frozen rose) and see where the night takes you.

NB a friendly reminder that the First Table offer is 50% off food only and drinks are full price. But hey, we think it’s a pretty good way to try out new restaurants near you.
