A Wimbledon Broadway institution since 1984, Stage Door is a family-run restaurant with deep Cypriot roots and a warm, enduring sense of hospitality. Founded by Pediandros (Andreas) Pilalis, whose lifelong passion for quality ingredients shaped the restaurant from the very beginning, it has become a much-loved fixture in south-west London. Following Andreas’s passing in 2020, his family continued his legacy, preserving the welcoming atmosphere and generous spirit that have kept generations of locals returning.

The menu proudly celebrates Greek and Mediterranean cooking, balancing comforting tradition with bold, vibrant flavours. Guests can begin with classic dolmades or a colourful Greek village salad before moving onto rich, homely dishes that speak to Cyprus and the wider Mediterranean. Slow-cooked kleftiko arrives tender and deeply flavoured, while moussaka delivers all the warmth and familiarity of a family kitchen. Seafood also shines, from king prawns in garlic butter with fresh spinach to grilled salmon finished with lemon and parsley butter.
