Perched alongside the River Thames in Greenwich, Riverside Kawa is a pan-Asian restaurant with an inviting dining space and far-reaching views of London’s exemplary skyline.

The restaurant is designed for relaxation and to showcase its authentic pan-Asian cuisine, crafted by seasoned and experienced chefs. Whether you're planning a casual catch-up or a special celebration, the venue suits every occasion. Seating is optimised to make the most of the riverside frontage, with al fresco options available during the warmer months.

The menu is heavily influenced by the owner, Mr Kawa, who hails from a long line of sushi experts in Aichi, Japan; a region renowned for its mackerel and squid. Building on traditional Japanese cuisine, diners can expect a curated selection of dishes with Thai, Chinese, and Korean influences, all delicately prepared with care and respect.

Start your feast with the salmon tartare in yuzu miso and spring onions, or opt for the chicken gyoza, perfectly crisp on the bottom. For those craving vegetables, the miso-glazed aubergine (nasu dengaku) is a rich, flavourful standout.

For mains, don’t miss the black cod in miso, flame-grilled over charcoal and served with lime. You also can’t go wrong with their grilled meats, from lamb chops in a fiery Korean-inspired sauce to a rib-eye steak marinated in lemon, soy, and ginger.

Weather permitting, guests can dine outside and savour their Japanese fix while enjoying a culinary journey inspired by one of the world’s most iconic rivers.
