dinner

Just outside of Deptford, LIT Shisha Bar and Restaurant brings bold Afro-fusion cooking together with a lively, music-led atmosphere, shaped by a fun-loving founding family and designed for sociable, high-energy dining.

The menu leans heavily into the grill, where flavour and fire take the lead. Smoky asun offers tender grilled goat layered with aromatic African spices, while beef suya delivers that unmistakable charred depth. Mains continue the theme with caramelised BBQ lamb chops, rich and moreish, alongside generous mixed platters of lamb, chicken and beef made for sharing. Jollof rice brings its signature tomato richness, and mac and cheese adds a comforting, indulgent counterpoint.

Desserts keep things playful, with Litchinos pairing crisp, sweet chin chin bake with ice cream for a nostalgic finish that lands just right.

Behind the bar, classic cocktails from mojito to mai tai keep the mood lifted, complemented by the relaxed haze of shisha and a soundtrack that carries the energy through the room. LIT moves effortlessly from dinner into a full evening out, where good food, music and company come together in one vibrant setting.
