A hip pub with its heart in Italy, this spot is unbeatable for craft beers matched to perfection with proper Italian food made with love and passion. There’s even a speakeasy-style cocktail bar hidden away on the first floor.

A few minutes walk from Portobello Road and painted smart royal blue with complementing ceramic tiles, it is an achingly stylish spot in which to while away an entire day. Or even the weekend...

The menu is as approachable as the front of house staff. Enjoy all your brunch favourites including some delicious Italian surprises (Caprese cake anyone?), as well as gourmet burgers, bar snacks, dips and a rotating roster of specials. Don’t miss the focaccia pizza.

Beer takes centre stage here. There are 14 on tap to choose from as well as a wide selection of fine Italian wines. Sophisticated cocktails centre around spirits imported from Italy, while all infusions are made in-house.

Enjoyed our meal at The Italian Job. Very relaxed beer house vibe (was quite quiet at the time) with a good selection of craft beers on tap. The service from the lovely Italian guy behind the bar was amazing and he was very willing to help us out with our choices - definitely went beyond what was required! Food was good, with the aubergine parmigiana being a favourite. Will definitely be returning for a drink or three sometime soon!

We had an excellent experience last night at The Italian Job.
The entrees were superb (Italian salad and chicken wings).
The burgers for mains were great. However could do with a touch more sauce, but no biggy.
The bar/restaurant manager was exceptionally helpful, great with wine recommendations, and made split payments easy.
We were lucky enough to attend on Pub Quiz night, which was heaps of fun with only a few teams (more opportunity for prizes!).
Would definitely go back for dinner and the pub quiz!
