Set in a charming three-storey townhouse on Upper Street, The Hare and Hounds blends traditional pub character with a polished, modern edge. It is lively without losing its warmth, the sort of North London address that suits an after‑work pint as readily as a celebratory supper, with a cocktail bar, dining spaces and upstairs rooms shaping the rhythm of the night.

The kitchen leans into modern British comfort with confident, hearty flavours. Think lamb tenderloins with garlic and red wine jus, or a 300g ribeye steak with peppercorn sauce on a bed of garden greens. Sundays are a particular draw, with roasts that have become something of a local calling card - generous, unhurried and built for lingering.

Behind the bar, well-poured beers sit alongside crisp cocktails and wine. A dark and stormy crafted with Kraken Dark Rum or a classic margarita sets an easy, upbeat tone, while the calendar keeps things buzzing with comedy nights, quizzes and live sports. It is the kind of place where a quick drink readily turns into a full evening.

For convivial catch-ups and group get-togethers, The Hare and Hounds makes social dining feel effortless. A convivial evening awaits - claim a corner, raise a glass, and let the good times hare along.
