Radiating warmth and charm, Going Greek brings a splash of Mediterranean sunshine to the heart of Holloway.

Tucked just off Holloway Road, this petite gem invites you to pull up a chair and feel part of the big Greek family. The space is cosy, the mood upbeat, and the décor evokes the energy of a summer’s day in Athens.

Expect time-honoured recipes, lovingly prepared with fresh, locally sourced ingredients and served with that unmistakable Greek flair. From juicy chicken and lamb souvlaki to gyros bursting with flavour, each dish promises a joyful journey through one of the world’s most beloved cuisines.

The menu offers something for everyone, whether you're after pita dipped in nutty, rich hummus, mouth-watering plant-based options like freshly grilled halloumi souvlaki, or a lamb kebab served in a Cypriot pita. For those with a sweet tooth, round off your meal with a Ferrero pie or a flaky piece of baklava.

Inspired by the lively spirit of Kefalonia, this delightful spot delivers a true taste of Greek street food just around the corner from home. It’s a little slice of Greece you’ll want to return to again and again.
