Nestled in the heart of Crouch End, Paesan is a feel-good neighbourhood hangout that brings rustic Italian flavours to North London.

This Italian trattoria offers a touch of rustic charm, providing the perfect spot for a comforting, home-away-from-home experience. The space is beautifully designed, blending the timeless character of a traditional enoteca with a warm, modern atmosphere. An intimate dining area sets the scene, while the signature open kitchen remains at the heart of it all, allowing guests to watch the chefs at work as each dish is created.

When a visit to Paesan is on the cards, we recommend gathering your gang. The menu features a selection of regional sharing dishes, think antipasti with porchetta, pistachio mortadella, and salsiccia picante, alongside small plates such as beef carpaccio topped with hazelnut and truffle.

The stars of the show are the pastas, from fresh carbonara to tortelli di zucca made with pumpkin, sage, and amaretto butter. The chefs live by their ethos of old trattoria tipples and plates, and the menu reflects this beautifully, showcasing some of the best seasonal and local produce you’ll find in North London.

After a successful sister site in the heart of Exmouth Market, the team has brought their signature style to this North London suburb, the perfect spot for a casual, relaxed evening with friends and family.
