Chit Chaat brings a serene, modern calm to North London, pairing a relaxed setting with a spirited celebration of North Indian flavours. Led by Chef Shikha Chadha, whose devotion to genuine taste and fresh ingredients runs through every plate, the kitchen balances authenticity and creativity with quiet confidence.

The story begins at street level: pani puri that crackles with spicy-sour water, dahi puri softened by cool yogurt, popadums for crunch and Punjabi samosas or meat samosas for a warming spice hit. From there, the tandoor takes the spotlight, with paneer tikka and chicken tikka carrying that irresistible kiss of smoke and spice.

Heartier cravings meet their match in butter chicken, rich and aromatic, or chicken biryani layered with fragrance and depth. Chef’s specials nod to beloved roadside comforts — vada pav and chole bhature — while brunch plates such as masala egg toast and keema paratha keep things playful. Thoughtful to its core, the menu is crafted free from nuts and seeds.

Unhurried and inviting, this is a place to savour, share and linger. Plan a visit to Chit Chaat for a little serenity, a lot of flavour, and a final flourish that will have you coming back for another chaat about it.
