On England’s Lane in Belsize Park, Terra Moderna is where contemporary Italian cooking comes to life with creativity and flair. Helmed by Michelin-trained chef Cristian Gaimarri, this chic, intimate space envelops guests in earthy textures and soft lighting - the kind of understated warmth that lends itself perfectly to date nights, special occasions and those spontaneous dinners that become memorable evenings.

The kitchen favours hand-rolled pasta, the kiss of the grill and seasonal produce locally and sustainably sourced, yielding plates that are bright, bold and precise. Think roasted Mediterranean octopus, rigatoni all’arrabbiata with a lively kick, an Australian wagyu bavette alongside seasonal vegetables.

Those with a sweet tooth are spoilt by the signature TerraMisu™ and a zesty passion fruit pavlova, while a thoughtful list of Italian, Australian and New Zealand wines keeps glasses clinking. Service threads Italian craftsmanship with the laid-back ease of Australian hospitality, making it as inviting for casual dining as for private celebrations.

Book a table, settle in, and let Terra Moderna carry you from Belsize Park to the Antipodes and back, one delicious course at a time.
