On Finsbury Square, HAZ channels the sunlit ease of the Mediterranean into Shoreditch.

A modern menu, inspired by age-old culinary practices and grounded in fresh, local, seasonal produce, captures the region's generous spirit. It's food made for sharing and for savouring, from first sip to final forkful.

The meze opens the conversation with silky hummus and crisp falafel, before the charcoal takes centre stage. Turkish mangal classics such as lamb and chicken shish arrive tender and fragrant, while from the sea come salmon and grilled monkfish with gentle smoke.

Beyond the charcoal, slow-cooked comforts run deep in lamb tagine and chicken tagine, balanced by vegetable highlights such as charred grilled cauliflower or a homely vegetable moussaka. Simple sides, whether basmati rice or chips, complete the picture without fuss.

From afternoon to night, the room hums with warm hospitality and an energetic ambience. The bar takes star billing, pouring a distinctive selection of signature beverages designed to delight the senses in taste, aroma and presentation.

Whether it's a lingering lunch or a spirited supper, the mangal will always bring the charm.
