Set aside the tranquil waters of the River Lea, Barge East is an award-winning sanctuary of culinary excellence in Hackney Wick, London. This meticulously restored 120-year-old Dutch barge has been transformed into a canalside gem, seamlessly blending history with modern gastronomy.

Step aboard and be captivated by the barge's alluring charm. During the warmer months, the lush gardens burst into life, their fragrant homegrown herbs and produce inspiring the restaurant's sensational seasonal dishes. In the cooler months, the barge's intimate interior beckons with its cozy ambience, perfect for savouring a memorable dining experience.

The cuisine at Barge East is a testament to the chef's artistry, showcasing the finest seasonal ingredients. Begin your culinary journey with tantalising small plates that celebrate the freshest flavours, such as the sourdough focaccia infused with wild garlic or the wild rice crackers adorned with velvety goat cheese mousse and crisp courgette.

For mains, embark on a culinary adventure with the catch of the day, including the tantalising Fowey Mussel Escabeche or the delectable Cornish Crab Sando, a delightful symphony of crab mayo and pickled apple. Alternatively, indulge in the Burnt Leek with Tunworth and onion ash oil, a testament to the chef's mastery of flavours.

Quench your thirst with bespoke cocktails, each a work of art in itself. The signature Barge-arita is a refreshing blend of forced rhubarb, tequila, and Cointreau, while the Bo.SS impresses with its sophisticated notes of blood orange rum, amaro, and bitters.

With its idyllic setting, exquisite cuisine, and impeccable service, Barge East transcends the realm of mere dining and becomes an unforgettable experience that will linger in your memory long after you disembark.
