Unassuming on the outside, an intimate temple of Indian cuisine on the inside, Muhib Indian is a gem in Brick Lane's dining scene.

It's cosy and romantic, keeping things small to allow for genuine connections. A corridor of pristine white tablecloths awaits, all graced by beautiful velvet seating that signals comfort and relaxation. Painted in a soothing shade of mellow yellow, it's at once sophisticated and informal, punctuated by faultless Indian hospitality.

The menu blends traditional and modern Indian cooking to remarkable effect. And they're not ones to let certain flavours go by; the result is an enormous menu that deserves at least 15 minutes of perusal time. Up first are their specialties which include everything from king prawn delight to chicken or lamb makaney, mint vegetables, chicken tikka jeera and vegetable passanda. Up next, Bangladesh is bringing forth stunning seafood dishes, all infused with different fresh spices and gravies. Other than that you have vindaloos, masalas, jalfrezis, bhunas and specials, all with your choice of chicken, lamb, prawn or vegetables.

And let's not forget the baltis! With over 20 options to their name, they're giving it their all. Kashmir also has its own section, as do the biriyanis, ceylons, Malayan and rogon, palak and dopiaza dishes. With more options than you ever thought possible, everyone is bound to try something new at Muhab Indian.
