ROKA in Aldwych offers a tranquil escape from the action, delivering a sleek take on contemporary Japanese robatayaki cuisine.

The restaurant’s spacious interior boasts a minimalist design, blending stained timber, marble, leather, and stone to create a calming yet vibrant atmosphere. ROKA is the perfect setting to watch the energy of this vibrant kitchen first-hand. Step into a spacious dining room of clean lines and understated elegance. At its heart lies the open robata grill, the dramatic centrepiece that brings an air of theatre to your dining experience.

The cuisine emanates from this focal point, using authentic Japanese cooking techniques to create contemporary dishes with a modern twist. Choose from small plates such as miso-marinated black cod, lamb cutlets, and a range of sushi from yellowfin tuna to sea bream.

Straight from the robata grill, expect tender cuts of meat like chicken wings glazed in yuzu honey, baby back pork ribs, and Angus beef fillet with chilli, ginger, and spring onions. Finish with a light Hokkaido no Ichigo cheesecake infused with strawberry and jasmine.

ROKA, with the robata at its heart, perfectly combines the vibrant Covent Garden scene outside with the class and excitement of the West End.
