1915 Lanz Noodle brings the ancient art of hand-pulled noodles to Portobello, with a focus on simplicity, skill, and satisfying fare. The craft's on show: diners can watch chefs stretch and shape dough in the kitchen, a rhythmic display that sets the tone for what follows.

At the heart of the menu, the celebrated hand-pulled beef noodle soups reveal a destination where texture matters as much as taste. Guests choose the thickness of their noodles, tailoring the bite and chew to their liking before they sink into rich, comforting broth.

The Oil Spill wide noodles with braised beef rib deliver those signature broad ribbons with deep, savoury warmth, while fresh Chinese cabbage dumplings complete the picture with delicate, restorative pleasure.

This quiet theatre shapes the entire experience: steam rising, strands snapping to life, steaming portions arriving with inviting aroma and clean, focused flavours. It's unfussy food elevated by precision, a reminder that the simplest things, done exceptionally well, can be the most memorable.

Turn to 1915 Lanz Noodle when only a soul-warming bowl will do. Choose your noodle width, settle in for the spectacle, and let the pull of tradition lead the way. Chopsticks at the ready!
