Tare Bistro

Bristol's Wapping Wharf is now home to Tare Bistro, a European-style hangout social hub that combines intimate eats with an easy-going dining style and a wonderful wine selection.

The restaurant is elegant and simple, combining stone greys with white egg whites, creams and natural textures. A bright, airy and modern space awaits, taking you away from the corporate modernism of Wapping Wharf for something warmer and more familiar. You can, however, appreciate the beauty of Wapping Wharf from Tare's balcony which is adorned with fairy lights that illuminate the dark London nights. It's irresistibly romantic.

As for the eats, they're almost too beautiful to eat. All crafted with artful perfection and an eye for detail, you'll find that the sophisticated textures and flavours of confit duck terrine, butternut squash tortellini and Chalk Stream trout are presented in a way you never considered before.

Bigger plates like beef short rib, Cornish lamb sausages and a slow-cooked squid and chorizo stew are served to on rustic plates that reflect the homemade ethos of the whole establishment. And finally, what goes better with a sunset than a caramelised orange tart with crème fraiche? The only way it could get any better is with a glass of wine...
