dinner

Dubbed as the Italian hub of Henleaze, La Scala opens up its doors to guests who crave a new yet classic take on Italian dishes.

Try one of the ‘wines of the month’ by the glass, or choose your own from their range on the wine wall. Need some advice or bewildered by the choice? Talk to their in-house sommelier for a recommendation in line with your personal preferences. They have something for every taste: whites that range from refreshingly citrus to notes of orchard fruits through to tropical and oaked; light to darker roses, reds for those that prefer a lighter finish and for those looking for something full of body.

They offer a selection of small plates, curated with their wines of the month from plump olives to pillowy rosemary focaccia with a Calabrian anchovy butter. Or, try the truffle honey with whipped ricotta - truly indulgent.

For heartier pairings, the signature La Scala lasagna or braised short shorts finished with a chianti wine reduction is perfect for your evening. To lighter platers, choose the renowned aperitivo board or a caprese salad crowned with buffalo mozzarella.

Come along and experience a little piece of la dolce vita in Henleaze!
