So, now you're settled comfortably with a glass of ice-cold white, indulge in exclusive fruits of the sea. The oyster bar awaits, offering oysters from Jersey, Essex and France. Seeing as the restaurant is named after these delicious rarities, you can be assured that they select only the finest on offer. As for other starters, enjoy the melt-in-the-mouth moments of the steak tartare or spread duck liver parfait liberally on a toasted brioche.

Moving onto the larger plates, seafood, of course, takes the crown. Sourced from all over the British Isles, fresh monkfish, hake and Dover sole are served with vibrant, minimalist accompaniments that support rather than steal the show. For those who fancy something meatier, you can't do better than the venison loin. Exquisitely tender, it is a wintery delight with savoy cabbage and celeriac puree. As well as that, you'll find a premium ribeye steak, an Angus beef burger and a simple cheese tagliatelle that is executed to perfection.
