In the bustling heart of Birmingham City Centre, Ponte brings the craft of Italian cooking into focus. Rooted in tradition yet guided by care, it follows the rhythm of the day and the seasons.

Here, lunches are simple and satisfying, while dinners are more refined, designed for lingering and sharing. It's an intimate, welcoming space with the warmth of a local English eatery and an unmistakably Italian spirit.

Across the menu, quality ingredients and thoughtful preparation take priority over fuss. Generous taglieri set the tone, featuring five Italian cheeses from five regions and a parade of salumi to match. Classics appear with confidence: bruschetta pomodoro that tastes of ripe tomatoes and good olive oil, alongside calamari fritti served with a swipe of garlic mayo.

Fresh pasta is crafted to comfort and impress, from tagliatelle al ragù di Nonna to the silky pull of rigatoni carbonara. From the oven, a Margherita balances tomato, Parmesan and fior di latte, while the Calabresella brings a lively kick of spicy spianata and 'nduja.

To finish, tiramisù dello Chef and Cannolo Lucio filled with Sicilian ricotta offer sweet punctuation, paired with classic Italian coffee to seal the evening.

Set a date, bring good company, and let Ponte do the rest - because life tastes better when shared, one delicious pause at a time!
